Snapdragon 778G powered Honor 50 Pro scores 525904 points on the Antutu benchmark

Honor 50 series is arriving on June 16, and we already know that the Honor 50 lineup will include Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G powered smartphones. It is said that the vanilla Honor 50 and the Pro variant will use the 778G SoC. There could be an Honor 50 Pro+ model also that will be powered by the flagship Snapdragon 888 chipset.

The upcoming Honor 50 Pro model will likely carry model RNA-AN00. In terms of display, the handset uses a 2676×1236 pixels resolution panel and runs a Snapdragon 778G mobile platform. The chipset is coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It will pack a 100MP primary shooter and will support 100W fast charging technology.

Today, the Honor 50 Pro device appeared on the Antutu which reveals its benchmark scores. We can see Snapdragon 778G powered Honor 50 Pro has scored overall 525904 points on Antutu Benchmark. The CPU score is 159545 points while the GPU has managed to achieve 157046 points. The UX and MEM scores are 84097 points and 125216 points respectively.

We can see the Snapdragon 778G overall Anturu scores are close to the Snapdragon 780G’s Antutu score. Even, the CPU and GPU scores of the two processors are relatively close. Therefore, we can consider both Snapdragon 778G and 780G will offer similar performance.

For those unaware, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G chipset is a slightly toned-down version of Snapdragon 780G. The major difference is that the 778G is manufactured using TSMC’s 6nm node while the 780G SoC is built on Samsung’s 5nm node.

Antutu listing further suggests the upcoming Honor 50 Pro could be equipped with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.x Storage technology. The screen refresh rate will be 120Hz.
