List of Phones with Dimensity 7050 Processor
MediaTek, the Taiwanese fabless semiconductor company, has announced its latest chipset, the Dimensity 7050, to power upcoming mid-range smartphones. In this article, we will look at the new mid-range chipset and the list of phones it will power. So, let’s get started.
MediaTek Dimensity 7050 Specs
To simplify things, the Dimensity 7050 is a rebranded version of the Dimensity 1080 and belongs to MediaTek’s new Dimensity 7000 series.
The chipset is manufactured using TSMC’s 6nm fabrication process. It features two high-performance Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.6GHz, and six power-efficient Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0GHz with support for LPDDR5/4x memory and UFS 3.1/2.1 storage standards.
Just like the Dimensity 1080 and the Dimensity 920, the Dimensity 7050 also features a Mali-G68 MC4 GPU. The chipset supports displays with resolutions of up to 2520 x 1080 pixels and 120Hz refresh rates, which is ideal for mid-range smartphones.
The chipset can also handle up to 200MP and 4K HDR video recording and advanced features such as hardware HDR video, triple HDR-ISP, and MENR.The Dimensity 7050 is expected to significantly enhance gaming performance by incorporating features like Wi-Fi Rapid Channel, a specialized 5G HSR mode, and energy-saving technology for super hotspots. MediaTek has also integrated support for global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) and the Wi-Fi 6 standard.

Several OEMs will launch their mid-range smartphones with the Dimensity 7050. Here is a list of the confirmed and upcoming phones that will feature the Dimensity 7050 chipset:

- Honor 70 SE 5G (Expected)
The Dimensity 7050 will debut on India’s Lava Agni 2 5G smartphone, as confirmed by the official Twitter handle. The Lava Agni 2 will feature a curved AMOLED screen, a 50 MP primary camera, in-display fingerprint scanner, and will come with Android 13 out of the box.
The realme 11 Pro series also features the new Dimensity mid-range chipset. Realme 11 Pro and Pro+ feature a 120Hz AMOLED screen, a 5000mAh battery, and the Dimensity 7050 chipset. As for the differences, the Pro model features a 100MP primary camera and 67W fast charging, while the Pro+ model features a 200MP primary camera and 100W fast charging.
Smartphones from other OEMs are also rumoured to launch with the new Dimensity chipset. The iQOO Z8x, POCO M7, and Honor 70 SE 5G are also expected to debut soon with the Dimensity 7050 chipset. Stay tuned for more information on the same.
