The iPhone 13 Pro will suffice for the "largest camera update ever" on an iPhone; a larger model, such as the Max, is not necessary.

Last year, only the 12 Pro Max had the best camera system, but this year, the only difference between the two Pro sizes is the number of cameras, not their quality.

We're glad Apple has eliminated the gap between the iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max, which was hampered in these two areas last year.

Both Pros have an ultrawide lens with autofocus and close-up shooting. The 13 Pro also has ProMotion display.

The 13 Pro gets other enhancements as well. The 10% battery capacity increase isn't substantial, but the adaptive refresh will improve longevity.

The 20% reduction in notch size is also worth mentioning, if only for the statement's comic value rather than its relevance.
